Why HOVER wants you:

HOVER is looking for a leader to run the Product Ops team, which acts as a force multiplier to the Product org. The three pillars of this role are: 

    1. Driving alignment between the Product and Go-To-Market teams, 
    2. Bringing qualitative and quantitative insights to the product team especially from HOVER’s enterprise customers, and 
    3. Evangelizing best practices to ensure a smooth operating model in the Product org. 

Your background likely includes some combination of Strategy, Operations, and Management Consulting that leaves you hungry for a role that covers a broad scope and provides an opportunity to drive an outsized impact within the company.

You'll contribute by:

You will work directly with the Product, Engineering, and Design (PED) executive team to support the PED organization. You will lead a team and will work closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, run analysis, and help the Product team launch and iterate on products. You will strive to deeply empathize with our Enterprise customers’ needs and pain points, to represent their viewpoints within our PED teams as well as across the business. As a critical member of the PED leadership team, you’ll contribute to team culture, processes, and hiring practices. 

Your background includes:

  • 8+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Product Operations, or similar functions, and at least a year of management experience
  • Experience cultivating broad product acumen and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and get-to-the-point
  • Experience leading group projects and enabling progress across multiple people’s work streams simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – can succinctly communicate findings and recommendations to the exec team and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical abilities and comfort with large datasets
  • A sincere, collaborative, and empathetic personality characterized by a strong inclination to be part of a team of doers

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within the Denver Metropolitan area is $164,000-193,000.
