HOVER is looking for a data expert who is equally comfortable with writing code and helping business stakeholders understand data. You’ll help teammates and customers get the data they need that directly drives business and customer growth.
The data engineering team is made up of data engineers, analysts, and scientists. We work cross-functionally and fullstack delivering data pipelines, scripting automation, building data models, and integrating data into 3rd party tools. You’ll work with Python, SQL, GCP, Airflow, Tableau and help to select and implement our new ETL architecture to help business stakeholders understand data that will impact the company.
You will contribute by:
On a daily basis, you’ll write SQL and Python to build out data pipelines in Airflow. You’ll manage our Snowflake data warehouse and Tableau. You’ll assess and implement automated or semi-automated tools and techniques to monitor the efficiency, quality, completeness, and accuracy of those data pipelines ideally using cloud-based and/or open-source tools for ETLs and data quality. You’ll also consult with Hover’s Engineering team to maximize the value we get from tools for feature flagging and experimentation (split.io), data integration (Segment), and customer reporting (Matik & Snowflake Data Sharing).
